I had pretty much all my teeth taken out under general anaesthetic when I was about 8 years old.

Not nice.

WhenI was 13 I had braces fitted...Unfortunately I also had the habit od sucking my two fingers...which had caused teh prodruding teeth...and was thwarting teh dentists attempts to straigten my gnashers
So in his wisdom, sado dentist fitted a series of mtal spikes behind my teeth ( I kid you not) so that when i went to try and out my fingers iin my mouth to suck them they got stabbed and ripped to shreds....
finger sucking stopped after (many sleepless nights...that's how I wnet to sleep you bar stewards) nights sticking wet cotton wool on spikes to stop it ripping tonugue....anyway wish I coudl say I have a dazzling smile...but teeth went back to how they were before when braces came off!!
