Experience: Wind
Here at A Post Box we are nothing if not cutting-edge topical bloggers. (Topical if you're in the UK, that is.) Tell us about a wind-related experience: amusing, horrific, mundane - you choose.
Here's my latest volley back over the net... One of my sister's most amusing story-telling endeavours is her recounting an aborted attempt of our's to scale Snowdon in foul conditions - lashing rain, and most dangerously - wind. In the end, safety ruled the day, however, her version of how well-prepared we were brings guaranteed tears of laughter to her eyes - her claim is that I carried something akin to a handbag along with something equivalent to a child's packed lunch, by way of preparedness. This is, needless to say, a load of old tosh, as in fact I was the epitome of Sir Edmund himself. All I remember of that day is wind... scary wind... wind that produced more wind.
