Let people boycott the Games. It's akin to having a naughty child - unless they (the Chinese government) see consequences to their bad behaviour, they'll keep doing it.
Like this: I don't care for the way the Chinese trample on civil rights, but they ARE the host country. So let's take the argument elsewhere, outside the Olympic Rings. Let's be buddies, just for a bit.
